Precautions for safe use
Precautions
1. The electrolyte in the battery has a strong corrosive effect on metals, cotton products, stones, soil, etc. Pay attention to correct use.
2. The battery should not be tilted or inverted to prevent electrolyte leakage.
3. During use and charging, batteries may generate hydrogen gas and explode when exposed to an open flame. The following precautions should be taken:
3.1. The battery should be maintained and used under ventilated conditions;
3.2. Open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited during battery maintenance;
3.3. After charging the battery outside the vehicle, it should remain stationary for more than 10 minutes to ensure that the hydrogen generated inside the battery is completely emitted before loading and other operations can be carried out;
3.4. After continuous driving, the vehicle should remain stationary for at least 10 minutes before carrying out inspection, disassembly, and other work on the battery;
3.5. During charging, the temperature of the battery should not exceed 45 ° C, otherwise measures such as cooling in a water bath or temporarily reducing the charging current and voltage should be taken.
4. It is strictly prohibited to place metal tools and conductive objects near the wiring terminals to prevent metal objects from colliding with the two poles, causing short circuits and ignition, and burning the battery and terminals.
5. When installing the battery, please do not use a hammer or other tools to strike the terminals.
6. Pay attention to safety during transportation to avoid hard injuries.
Installation, Use, and Maintenance
1. Connect the "+" and "-" terminals of the battery to the positive and negative connection lines of the vehicle, please connect to the positive pole first.
*Attention: Due to differences in power among different vehicle models, there may be situations where this function is not immediately activated when the battery is loaded and started. Our company recommends that users activate it manually to achieve the most accurate recording effect.
2. When adding electrolyte, operators should wear acid resistant work clothes, rubber shoes, and protective glasses. Protective equipment such as rubber gloves. If sulfuric acid accidentally splashes onto the skin or clothing, it should be immediately rinsed with plenty of water! If necessary, seek the help of a professional doctor!
3. Be careful not to over discharge the battery during use, and charge the discharged battery in a timely manner.
4. If the vehicle is not in use for a long time, the battery should be removed or the negative terminal wire on the battery should be disconnected.
5. It is prohibited to use the method of short circuit and ignition at the battery terminals to test whether the battery is charged.
6. Regularly check whether the connection parts are secure and whether the terminal surface is clean to ensure good contact.
7. The battery should be stored in a dry, clean, and well ventilated environment at 5~25 ℃, without direct sunlight, at least 2 meters away from the heat source, and regularly inspected and maintained.
